Setting up a three-way conference call on a Yealink phone

Need a colleague's input while you're on a call? Yealink desk phones can host a three-way conference with just a couple of key presses.

  1. Start with your first callMake or answer the call as normal.
  2. Press ConferencePress the Conference soft key. The first caller is placed on hold.
  3. Dial the second personEnter their number or extension and press Send.
  4. Join everyoneOnce they answer, press Conference again. All three of you are now connected.

During the conference

  • Mute yourself with the Mute key. The others can still hear each other.
  • Split the conference back into two separate calls with the Split soft key.
  • Hang up and, on most setups, the other two parties are disconnected too, so if you need them to keep talking, transfer one to the other instead.

Need more than three people?

The phone itself handles three-way calls. For larger calls, your VitalPBX system can provide a conference room that everyone dials into, with an optional PIN. Ask us and we'll set one up for your team.
