If your Yealink phone shows No Service, Registration failed, Network unavailable, or the account icon at the top of the screen has turned grey or shows a cross, the phone has lost contact with your VitalPBX system. Most of the time, it's a quick fix.
1. Is it just you, or everyone?
Ask a colleague whether their phone is working. If every phone in the office is down, it's likely your internet connection or router. Check whether the internet is working on a computer, then call us.
2. Check the cables
Look at the back of the phone. The network cable should go into the port marked Internet or LAN (not PC), and click firmly into place. If your computer plugs into the phone, make sure that cable is in the PC port.
If the screen is completely blank, the phone has no power. It's either powered by its adapter, or through the network cable (PoE). Check the adapter or the network switch.
3. Restart the phone
- Unplug the powerUnplug the power adapter. If there isn't one, unplug the network cable from the Internet port.
- Wait 10 secondsGive it a moment to fully power down.
- Plug it back inThe phone takes a minute or two to start up and reconnect.
4. Check the phone's status
On most models, pressing the OK key on the idle screen shows the phone's IP address and status. If it shows an IP address but still won't register, that's useful information to give us when you call.
