Windows 10 style start button on Windows 11

A very common question we are asked is: "Can I put the Start button back on the left, like it was in Windows 10?"

Windows 11 centres the Start button by default, but you can move it. To do so:

1. Open taskbar settingsRight-click the taskbar and select Taskbar settings.
2. Find taskbar behavioursScroll down and expand Taskbar behaviours.
3. Change the alignmentChange Taskbar alignment from Centre to Left.

The change happens straight away, with no restart needed.
