With VitalPBX, your extension isn't tied to your desk. The same number can ring your desk phone, your mobile app and your laptop, and callers see your business number whichever one you answer on.
On your mobile: the VitalPBX app
Install the VitalPBX mobile app on your iPhone or Android phone and we'll send you the details to link it to your extension. You can then:
- Answer office calls wherever you are
- Make calls that show your business number, not your personal mobile
- Transfer calls to colleagues, just like on your desk phone
- Check voicemail and call history
On your laptop: VitXi in the browser
VitXi is VitalPBX's web-based phone. There's nothing to install. Open it in your browser, sign in, and use your laptop's headset or speakers and microphone. Along with voice, it supports video calls, chat with colleagues, and checking voicemail.
Tips for the best call quality
- Use a headset rather than your laptop's built-in speakers to avoid echo.
- On mobile, strong 4G/5G or good WiFi works best. Weak signal means choppy audio.
- Allow the app notification and microphone permissions, or calls may not ring.
